CUSTOM URNS AND SPECIAL PROJECTS

I am attentive to your needs and am able to adapt to your particular situation. There are many technical and artistic possibilities that can be implemented to best meet your expectations and your time constraints.

To sculpt an urn, I can draw my inspiration from the theme of a song or the last tribute text. It is also possible, when appropriate, to symbolically represent the number of children and grandchildren.

You can participate in the creative process. I encourage you to paint, write or apply a meaningful object to the urn that is symbolic of the deceased. There is no better tribute: let your heart speak.

I will be with you during the whole process by putting my creativity at your service. Each custom project comes with a quote. During the fabrication, I will contact you by email and send some pictures to make sure you are satisfied with the work done. You must know that for this type of funeral tribute, you might have to dedicate some time to the project. However, I think that this approach will help you deal with death through the expression of your love and sadness.

Customize an urn from the boutique in a few days

I can customize an urn available in the boutique by changing the cover or by adding a sculpted section. It takes 2 or 3 extra days of work and the price is increased by about $150 (a precise estimate will be submitted to you).


Create a custom urn, according to your specifications

I always have several unfinished urns in my workshop (roughly trimmed, dry and ready to be filled). With your suggestions (forms, themes, type of wood species, carved motifs, etc…), the finished product will meet, if not exceed, your expectations. It takes about two weeks for the process.

If I start a creation from a green wood log or from a tree stump that you already have in your possession, the whole process will take a few months, because the wood needs to dry for a certain period of time before I start working with it. Costs vary, each piece is unique. The base price for a custom urn is $750 plus the time allocated to the sculpture

The cost for a smaller urn is around $200 and takes 2 to 4 weeks to produce.

Each project is accompanied by a written quote including a fixed price.

URNES POUR ENFANTS

There are no words that can express the pain caused by the loss of a child. I know that sadness since I have felt it myself. I am attentive to your needs and available to help you create a special and unique urn in remembrance of your lost child, regardless of how long your child’s path in life has been. Together, we will create a cozy cocoon for the ashes that will perpetuate all the beautiful memories left by this too brief of an existence.

Urns for children are unique creations and a quote is generated when we are sure about how you would like us to proceed. The estimated cost for this type of creation is $300. A delay of 2 to 4 weeks is necessary. If you wish to quickly bring the ashes home without feeling rushed, a small box can be provided by the funeral home.

URNS FOR PETS

Because our pets mean a lot, it is normal to also offer a choice of urns that will honor these members of the family. The urn can be customized if you wish. If you need to discuss a specific project, do not hesitate to contact me. You will need to know the approximate weight of your pet, which will determine the urn’s volume.

The estimated cost of an urn for a cat or a dog is around $200. It can go up to $300 for a large dog. A personalized project may take a period of 3 to 6 weeks.

RELIQUARIES (SMALL SOUVENIR URNS)

It is possible to create small reliquaries adapted to receive a portion of the ashes that you would want to keep at home and perhaps bury under a tree, for example.
